COLEBROOKE COLEBROOKE SS 70 SE 3/95 Turner headstone approximately 14 - metres south of Tower of Church of St Andrew
GV II
Headstone. Circa 1815 in memory of the children of James and Ann Turner. Limestone. Upright slab with shaped head standing approximately 1.6 metres high. It is inscribed with various styles of serif upper and lower case lettering and records the deaths of Edward Turner aged 7 weeks (died 1806), John aged 9 years (died 1813) and Richard aged 1 year (died 1815). At the top is a recessed shaped panel which includes a carved bas relief cherub and at the bottom is a poetic epithet.
