house with attached barn. Early C18 with C19 addition, coursed
and rubble limestone with ashlar dressings; stone slate roof,ashlar
chimneys with moulded caps to front house, one brick chimney to
back wing; shingle roof to barn. Two-storey with attic; two room
plan with fireplace spiral staircase; back wing added and enlarged
in C19; barn at west end. Two window front with central doorway
having chamfered surround and open segmental pedimented porch on
stone brackets; 3-light windows with hood mouldings, leaded
casements to upper floor; gabled attic roof dormers with leaded
casements. Two 2-light windows to back of main range. Irregular
fenestration to C19 wing: mostly timber casements with deep stone
lintels.
Interior: large C18 fireplace with timber lintel at west end; to
the right a door leading to a timber spiral staircase.
