Large detached dwelling. Early C18. Ashlar limestone, coved cornice to hipped stone
slate roof; stone stack at ridge, left. Two storeys, attic and cellar;
2+2+2-windowed, sashes with glazing bars in plat band surrounds with keystones, a
plain string course immediately above ground floor keys; in bay front, 8-panel door
in plat band surround with keystone under flat wooden hood on brackets. Two hipped
dormers with broad 2-light casements with glazing bars. On return wall, left, 3-light
casement under shallow elliptical arch, first floor left, and access to cellar.

Interior not seen, except stair opposite main entry, and painted panelled room with
Doric fluted pilasters and triglyph overmantel frieze, ground floor, left.

A major remaining clother's house.
