BOURTON-ON-THE-HILL A44 MORETON-IN-MARSH - SP 13 SE Bourton-on-the-Hill Road (s. side) 4/28 Sezincote Lodge, Sezincote Estate II Lodge to Sezincote House. By S. P. Cockerell c1805. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, concrete tile roof, stump of ashlar stack. Limestone slate roof to porch. Rectangular plan with entrance porch set back from facade on right. 2 storeys. 2- windowed. 2-light metal casement with diamond leaded lights, in flush surrounds with rounded upper corners. Ashlar pilaster between windows and at corners. Plank door in round-headed surround far right. Most decorative details in gable ends. Left gable end. 3-windowed; 2 single slit lights within pointed architraves flanking central 2-light metal casements with 4-centred arched architrave. 4-light canted bay below with 4-centred arched heads and diamond leaded casements flanked by two blind 4-centred arched doorways. Flat wooden gable coping with hollow pointed finials. Decorative barge board with pendants from eaves, roof to porch with ridge parallel with that of main body. Interior not inspected.
