RUNTON TOP COMMON TG 14 SE EAST RUNTON 2/44 Manor Farmhouse - II House. Early C18. Brick, with vertical bands of black headers between openings, flint; smut pantiles with red pantiles to rear. 3-cell plan with contemporary rear stair outshut and later additions. Facade of 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays. Sash windows, some with horns, under flat rubbed brick arches. Centre 3 bays with rusticated brick quoins break forward slightly; these 3 bays together of same width as each of the flanking bays. Central door with repaired Gibbs' surround with dentilled pediment; door of 4 panels, probably C19; an 8-light sash window to each side. Moulded brick flat hoods to ground floor windows. Moulded brick lintel to central window and moulded brick keystone to flanking windows of upper floor. Moulded brick modillions to eaves cornice. 3 attic sashes. Rebuilt gable end stacks. Gable walls and rear outshut of coursed flint. Interior. Eared architraves to door surrounds. Rear stair hall. Column balusters to staircase.
