11/29 Green monument, in churchyard, about 14m east of chancel, Church of St. Andrew

GV II

Pedestal tomb; early C19; stone. Small, square pyramid, moulding to edge, scotia, step to flat lid with moulded edge. Vertical-leaf frieze below; very elongated quarter-square balusters at corners. Sides have nearly-pointed ovals formed by raised rim, with paterae in corners. Moulded base. Commemorates Thomas Green, died 1802 and Anne Wickesy, died 1811.
