GV II

Stable, of uncertain original function. Probably early C17 with later alterations.
Mixed granite and slatestone random rubble with granite quoins, formerly had hipped
roof in slate. In one range with later C19 2-storey stable attached to south east.
South west side has ventilation slit at ground and first floor with heavy granite
surround, drain; stable attached to right has 2 ground floor windows and central door
with granite lintel, loading door under eaves; over early building, timber wall plate
remains and one truss, principals and collar, no roof. To north west, chamfered
granite doorway formed from 3 monoliths, window opening with granite lintel to
right, later window and door opening to left, internally a segmental arch set in wall
at junction with stable. Pighouse addition to north east with 2 doors and trap house
set in angle with stable.
