Parish church. Medieval and later. Restored and largely re-faced in C19. Flint with ashlar dressings. Slate roofs. Circular west tower; nave with north aisle and south porch; chancel. Tower of 1868. 3 ground floor lancets, 3 crudely traceried sound holes, 3 flat headed loops and 4 2-light Y-traceried bell-openings. Crenellated parapet on a corbel table. South wall of nave has 3 C19 3-light windows in Perpendicular style with embattled transoms. C14 moulded south doorway of 3 orders. C19 porch. North aisle with 3 late- Medieval 3-light cusped windows, a contemporary 3-light east window with a pair of crudely formed mouchettes and a simply moulded north doorway. 3 restored 3-light clearstorey windows in similar style. Chancel retains a section of Cllor C12 coursed masonry to north side. North side with one 2-light late-Medieval cusped window and a blocked 2-light C14 Decorated window truncated by an inserted priest's doorway. South side with 2 C19 2-light traceried windows and a C14 2-light window with dagger. Fine 5-light C14 reticulated east window with octofoil. Interior. 4-bay north arcade of quatrefoil piers with intermediate fillets supporting arches of 2 plain- chamfered orders. Chancel arch also of 2 plain-chamfered orders on rebuilt polygonal responds. The chancel has a pair of C14 cusped niches flanking the east window and 2 piscina bowls without canopies to south. 3 Greek Revival wall monuments .to Angerstein family. Stained glass east window representing 'Transfiguration' by George Parlby, 1905. C19 king post nave roof.
