Boundary feature,
at NGR 1038 2535,formerly an entrance to Guiting Grange at the end
of an avenue of trees. C18 gate piers, C19 walls and blocking to
entrance. Limestone and cast-iron. 2 rectangular gate piers cut
back at corners. Possibly original graffiti AW 1746 on right-hand
pier. Pilasters with moulded caps with brackets above on right
and left of piers. C19 decorative cast-iron railing between
piers. Arcaded wall to either side of piers with moulded capping.
Wall stepped up in two quarter curves on right. Wall right of
second step up coursed squared and dressed limestone. 2 square
ashlar piers far right with pyramidal top far right flanking single
plank door.
