BARRINGTON BARRINGTON PARK SP 2013-2113 10/22 Roman Doric Temple c50m south of the walled garden GV II* Not accessible at the time of resurvey, May 1986. Roman Doric temple. Mid C18. Reputed to be by William Kent. Built as part of the landscaping of the park, undertaken by the Earl and Countess Talbot. Ashlar. Circular plan probably open on one side with distyle Doric columns. Doric entablature. Visible in a print in S. Rudder, A New History of Gloucestershire, 1779.
