SY8682 EAST LULWORTH "COCKLES LANE" 16/122 20.11.59 No. 17 Littlemore Cottage including attached outbuilding on west GV II

Detached cottage, with attached outbuilding. Probably C18 - of two builds. Walls part brick, part stone and cob - tile-hung on south. Half-hipped thatched roof, central brick stack. At right angles to road. Section adjoining road, of two storeys and attics, has brick walls. Elevation to road has plat band at first floor level, and one horizontally sliding sash window with remains of lead lights, in attic. Section west of this, probably earlier, has stone and cob walls - one storey and attic. South elevation has, on ground floor, two casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Single-storey lean-to on south has hipped tiled roof. North elevation has single-storey lean-to along its full length, with part tiled, part corrugated iron roof. Blocked windows on ground and first floors in east section. Attached outbuilding on west has rubble stone walls and tiled roof. RCHM Monument 13.
