Details
MATTISHALL THYNNE'S LANE TG 01 SW (south west side) 2/76 Stables and barn at Ivy Farm GV II Former stables with hay loft. Extended with a later barn to side. Stables dated 1741 on west gable with initials I.A.S. C19 barn. Brick with pantile roofs. Stables. Chequer pattern brickwork. Symmetrical facade with boarded central door flanked by single windows. Door and one window retain skewback arches with cambered soffits. 2 later doorways to loft. Gables with tumbling-in set closely to western gable only. Collar and wedge-tenoned butt-purlin roof. Barn with off-centre cart entrance and shallow pitched roof. Various later lean-to additions.
