Parish church. Late C12 or C13 nave and west tower, C14 chancel, largely rebuilt 1874 by F R Kempson. Sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, tiled roofs and shingle to spire. West tower, nave with south porch, chancel and north vestry. West tower: early C13, two stages with C19 broach spire, plain C14 corbels and lancet windows to north and south. Pair of C19 semi-circular headed openings to east side of bell stage and lancet openings to remaining sides. Nave: C19 windows to south; one lancet with moulded label to left and and two pairs of similar windows to right of C19 gabled south porch; late C12 two-centred arched headed south doorway with roll moulded jambs partly restored. Six similar C19 windows to north wall and one late C12 semi-circular headed light remains intact toward centre rear blocked and altered north doorway. Chancel: single trefoil-headed light and 2-light window with plain Y-tracery; north wall altered by addition of C19 vestry. East window: three plain stepped lights. Interior: C14 or C15 roof to chancel of three bays; open arched brace trusses with trefoil above. C19 roof to nave. Stone staircase in north-east angle of nave formerly leading to rood loft, C15 rood beam, with carved floral and vine ornament. Font, C13, moulded octagonal base and round stem with C19 bowl.
