THORGANBY MAIN STREET SE 64 SE ( east side) 3/85 Coach house, hayloft and dovecot to Thorganby Hall II GV
Coach house, hayloft and dovecot. Probably 1822 with late C20 alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and Welsh slate roof. Slightly-projecting, single-bay, 3-stage centre with wider single-bay, 2- storey wings. Centre has round-arched carriage entrance with arch of red gauged brick and double plank doors. To third stage a 12-fixed-pane window with radial glazing to head beneath round arch of red brick and with 2 rows of openings and landing shelves beneath. Hipped roof surmounted by square cupola with further dove openings and surmounted by weather vane. Wings (alike): C20 openings, that to right with double plank doors. To first floor an oculus with red brick surround. Ashlar coping and kneelers.
