II
Early C19, late C19. Two-storeyed symmetrical block, extended eastwards, and also northwards (at a greater height). The old (south) facade has eastwards additions of 2 periods in similar style, of 3.1.1 windows. Low-pitched hipped slate roof with coved plastered eaves above a moulding. Red brick walling in Flemish bond (some blue headers), with rubbed flat arches to the ground-floor, the eastern parts being in English bond, stone cills, plinth. Sash of 16 panes, in reveals. Six-panelled door in solid frames, with an open gabled canopy on carved brackets. The north (later) facade is symmetrical, of 2 windows, the lower French openings being of 3-lights. On the west side is a late C19 solid brick porch, with simple cornice and pilaster treatment in brickwork, and arched opening.
