12/87 Prospect Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Mid-late C18 with C19 and C20 alteration. Coursed sandstone on plinth, with herringbone-tooled quoins; pantile roof with brick stacks. 3- cell, hearth-passage plan with high and low end. 2-storey, 3-window high end with 1½-storey low end to right. Main front: plank door to low end to right of 3-light, small-pane horizontal-sliding sash, under a continuous timber lintel. To right, a flight of steps leads to a board loft door. High end contains two 30-pane fixed windows with small opening lights to both floors, with a small later inserted window to centre of first floor. Painted stone sills and keyblock lintels to all original windows. Cavetto- moulded eaves course. Coped gables, shaped kneelers and end stacks to high end. Front to road: C20 board door to right of low end, with small 2-light horizontal-sliding sash to end left. Single 24-pane fixed window with painted stone sill to ground floor of high end. Door and high end window have painted tooled keyblock lintels.
