Christ Church
II
1867. Unaltered small Victorian church, having a chancel, nave, south porch, and a slender tower attached to the south-west corner. Tile roof. Walling of flint with flush banding in red and black bricks, brick moulding to plinth; openings (within stone surrounds) are single or coupled lancets, a triple lancet east window and 3 separate lancets at the west. The tower has a shingled spirelet above an octagonal open-framed belfry, and beneath this is a tiled broach roof; the walling of 3 stages is of flint with brick rustic quoins and plinth band, 2 stone weathered bands. The porch has a pointed stone arch, enclosing a wrought-iron gate. Within, the red brick walling has some yellow banding, there is a tiled floor, a painted panel ceiling to the chancel, and period fittings.
