House, now a Public House. C16 or earlier, brick nogged in C19 and extended to S. Timber frames exposed on 1st floor with white painted brick infill and continuous to ground floor. S wing brick fronted but thin timber frame at rear. Steep old red tile roof hipped to N. S wing has lower pitched roof hipped to S. Narrow junction bay projects to front and rear but roofed uniform with S part. A 2-storeys, 3 cells, house and crosswing building re-roofed uniformly and large central chimney at lower end of hall. Entrance formerly under S crosswing. 2 cells, 2 storeys, S wing in line with separate door with a window to left and 2 to right. 2-light and 3-light casement windows, horizontal in N part, square with segmental arches to lower windows in S wing. 2 ground floor RH windows 8/8 panes flush box sashes. Dentilled brick eaves to S wing.
