GV II
House. Late C17, extended late C18 and early C19. Red brick. Tiled roofs. Originally 2 bays with a broad steeply pitched gable end roof with a pyramidally roofed C18 block to left and an early C19 rear wing. All 2 storeys. Entrance to left of early block. Panelled door with a moulded frame. Deep reveal. Ground floor 2 timber 2 light casements, leaded, all openings with segmental gauged brick heads. 2 first floor iron frame 2 light casements. Dentilled brick eaves. To left C18 block is bow fronted. 2 C19 sashes with stone sills, ground floor segmental heads and reveals, first floor flat heads and flush frames. Dentilled brick eaves. Sun Fire and Phoenix insurance markers. Small stack to left of early block. Right gable is weatherboarded. 1 bay early C19 wing to rear with a hipped roof. Ridge stack. Horizontal sliding sashes on left return. Stack to rear of C18 block, lean-to addition to rear. Interior not inspected. Solesbridge Mill produced paper from 1746 when it was owned by G. Andrews, a pioneer in paper production, to 1902.
