GV II
Manor house. Late C16. Random rubble, 3 rubble ridge stacks, pantile roof. Cross passage house. Two storeys, 3 bays, 3-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows under stopped labels, except a 4 light opening to right of first floor; 4 window opening to ground floor, 3 with relieving arches. Door opening virtually central, 12-panelled door, narrow tramsomlight. Prominant rubble buttress to left of frontage. Rear elevation cement rendered; 3-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows, that to left of first floor probably the only dating from C16; 4-centred arch door opening in a moulded stone surround masked by a C20 extension. Fireplace in a moulded 4-centred stone surround to right ground floor room; 2 smaller similar fireplaces to first floor as well as a narrow fireplace with a flat lintol.
