SE 8370 SETTRINGTON VILLAGE STREET (north side) 10/75 Farmbuildings attached to west of Elm Tree Farmhouse

GV II Barn, cartsheds and byres, with lofts over. c1800. Dressed limestone with brick eaves course; concrete pantile roof to front range, pantile roof to rear; brick piers with limestone imposts to cartsheds. L-shaped on plan. 2-storey, 4-bay range to front; 1 1/2-storey, 6-bay range to rear left, with single-storey, lean-to outbuilding to end. Range to street has 2 shuttered pitching windows to left of blocked doorway, and 12-pane fixed window to end right. C20 double board doors to left gable wall. Centre board door with painted timber lintel to rear range, with similar lifting door above. To right, 2 louvred pitching windows with ventilation slits below. To left, 3- bay cartshed with segment-arched openings and louvred pitching windows over. Included for group value.
