(formerly listed as Beck House).

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with alterations. Coursed cobble walls to ground floor
with brick dressings to openings and east end. Above, lighter brick of C18
appearance and irregular bond probably representing a replacement of earlier
cobbles. Limestone quoins to lower half of west corner and dentilled brick eaves of
3 courses. Pantile roof with raised brick verges and end chimneys. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Central entrance has modern door. Modern casements. Interior: chamfered
ceiling beams to ground floor front rooms. North Yorkshire and Cleveland Vernacular
Buildings Study Group Report 412.
