Lodge now Gardener's cottage. Circa 1911 by Ernest Willmott for W.S. Cohen, to complement the main house, q.v. Narrow plum brick in English garden wall bond with lighter red dressings, plinth and rusticated corners. Deep plaster eaves cove to tall very steep hipped roof of red tiles. A small symmetrical house of one storey and attic facing S. Front has 2 2-light oak-framed small-paned casement windows under flat gauged arches of tiles or very narrow bricks. Bold rectangular central chimney with rebated angles. Single hipped dormer central in front roof slope. Central half-glazed panelled door up 2 semi-circular steps has moulded oak surround with cyma frieze to entablature. (Ernest Willmott RIBA English House Design Batsford, London (1911) plates 8 and 9).
