Stable with granary over. C17, altered and ground floor partly rebuilt in brick in C19. Timber frame with grooves for wattle- and-daub infill but now weatherboarded externally with red brick on the ground floor on W side and S half of E side. Steep pitched roof now of corrugated iron. A 2-storey, 2 bay structure facing E, backing onto the road. The N half is relatively unchanged with a heavy, floor structure and timber lined granary reached by a ladder. S half has had floor removed to make a lofty stable but an original 3-light unglazed window with diamond mullions remains in the upper part of the W wall. Frame has jowled posts, a clasped-purlin roof, and a central truss with collar and angle braces. E front has 2 divided stable doors. Abutts S stable.
