Barn. C16. Timber frame on red brick sill (renewed). Timbers grooved for wattle-and-daub infill but plaster remains only on upper part of front. Lower part and other walls dark weatherboarded. Steep pitched roof half-hipped at W end, now of corrugated iron. A 3-bay barn facing N with double doors in the middle bay. Wall-plate raised for a lean-to porch on N and S sides of middle bay. Jowled posts with long square-section braces to tie-beams. Tension bracing to corner posts. Clasped- purlin roof with collars only. Thatched roof up to c1917.
