II
House. Late C17 with C19/C20 alterations. Coursed, squared gritstone, stone slate roof. 2-unit baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Quoins. C20 gabled porch with panelled door, centre, flanked by 3-light, double- chamfered mullion windows. First floor: blocked door, left, with C20 window inserted; 2-light double-chamfered mullion window; small square window above porch; 2-light double-chamfered mullion window right. All lights have 2-pane casements or fixed lights. Shaped kneelers, gable coping. Stacks at gables and centre, those to centre and right corniced. Rear facade has lean-to against western bay. 2- and 3-light mullion windows to ground floor; the 3-light mullion window being original, while the other windows throughout the house have stonework of late C19 or C20 date. Interior: large former open fireplace with bressumer, now containing cooking range, ground floor left.
