Details
GROSMONT ESKDALESIDE NZ 80 NW (north-west side) 3/129 Eskdale Villa - II House. Early C19. Tooled and herringbone-tooled sandstone with pantile roof. Central-entrance plan, 1 1/2-rooms deep, with rear service wing. 2-storey, 3-window front with 1-storey lean-to wing at left. 6-panel door beneath divided overlight in pedimented doorcase. All windows are 16-pane sashes with painted sills and lintels. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks. Small recessed window in painted surround in lean-to.
