House, the oldest part of a now divided property. Early C17. Local stone squared and random coursed with Ham stone dressings; Welsh slate roof between coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. 2-storeys with attics; 3 bays. Mullioned ovolo moulded windows with individual labels: to bay-1 wide 3-light with narrower 3-light over, to bay-2 a 2-light with cambered arch doorway with 3-light over, to bay-3 a 4-light with 3-light over; roof has 4 hipped slated dormer windows. Lean-to to North with C20 casement window. The date 1600 said to occur on this portion and also a cheese house. The house modernized and substantially extended for Herbert Ashworth Hope in 1927.
