2/33 Cornborough Villa Villa (Formerly listed under General) 25.1.54 II House. 1742 on datestone with earlier origins. Sandstone ashlar, pantile roof. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys, 4 bay garden front. 6-panel door, in third bay, with top 4 panels fielded and lower 2 flush, beneath overlight C with patterned glazing and channelled lintel with dated keystone: T G. 1742 C20 French door in first bay. 16-pane sash windows under keyed channelled Lintels throughout. Moulded eaves course. Gable coping, shaped kneelers, end and ridge stacks. Interior features suggesting C17 origins include massive bressumer and inglenook in kitchen, massive beam in hallway, bressumer, inglenook and evidence for former spice cupboard in dining room. C18 reeded archway in hall.
