Country house. Late C18, mid C19 and C20 additions. Doulting ashlar, emphasised quoins, moulded and dentilled cornice, solid parapet with balustrading panels above outer bays, 2 box dormers, slate mansard roof, coped verges, end rubble stacks. Classical, symmetrical. 2-storeys and attic, 1:1:1 bays, those to each side in full height canted bays, sash windows with glazing bars. Door opening in C19 wing to right return, "solid" ashlar porch, vestigual Tuscan columns supporting a frieze and a dentilled cornice, double 2 panelled doors, small transom-light over. 2 C20 wings to rear.
