Farmhouse. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill and additions, machine tile roofs. Original plan a long range of 4 framed bays, the left-hand and middle bays subsequently re-built in red brick; twin-gabled 2-storey mid-C19 addition to rear. One storey and attic; framing: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate, long straight tension braces; middle and left-hand sections re-built in brick and painted black and white in imitation; irregular fenestration, two 3-light late C19 casements with segmental heads to left and right with small larder window to right, mid-C20 gabled eaves dormers to left and centre, nail-studded plank and muntin door with decorated strap hinges, probably moved out from original position; tall red brick ridge stack immediately to right of entrance and end stack to left. Interior: not inspected, but said to have partly exposed timber framing and a re-built inglenook fireplace.
