Cottage. C17, possibly earlier. Local stone roughly squared and coursed; thatched roof; brick end and centre stack. single-storey with attic; 3-bays with 1-bay extension on South side. Almost central entrance door, part glazed, between bays 2 and 3, in heavy squared frame with exposed timber lintol over; 3-light casement windows with voussoired segmental heads to ground floor; windows above set into thatch. Apparently blocked former doorway in extension. Said to have stud and panel screen, early smoke bay fireplace, chamfered beams, etc. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, July 1982).
