House. Early C16. Double-fronted Wealden frame house, formerly
on moated site, extended W and N in C18. 2 storeys. Red tile
roof. Exposed heavy studs, double thickness in centre. Circa
1910 brick infill to ground floor and roughcast infill to jettied
upper floor. Curved braces. 2 flush sash windows. Coved
plaster cornice. Interior with moulded transverse and axial
floor beams. Early C18 W extension in painted brick with gable
end stack and coved plaster cornice. Floor band. 1 flush sash
window. Weatherboarded N extension to whole range.
