14/88 Brown Morgan Memorial - approximately 30 metres to North-west of North Porch of Church of St George
GV II
Chest tomb. Circa 1840. Sandstone ashlar. Chamfered plinth, sunken panels; unusual corner treatment with the Tuscan columns, a full one at the corner with an engaged quadrant one to each side; chamfered top. To Thomas Brown Morgan (died 1840). An example of a type peculiar to the area (cf: a number of other memorials in the churchyard).
