Cottage and former smithy. Circa 1700. Painted limestone rubble and
Plain tile roof with partial catslide to rear. 3-room cottage with
smithy adjoining to right. Aligned north-west/south-east, aspect north-
east. One storey and attic. 2 gabled eaves dormers to left with
2-light casements and central brick ridge stack. Two C19 2-light
casements to left flanking boarded door, 2-light casement off-centre
to right with boarded shutters, and 2 large boarded doors to right.
Interior: timber framed transverse partition walls with square panels,
2 up to wall plate; queen strut roof trusses with V-struts above
collar. Hearth survives in smithy.
