Monument. 1803 to Philip Adams. Rectangular limestone tomb chest with refined Greecian mouldings. Panelled corner pilasters, fluted and without basemouldings. 2 fielded panels on each side with reserved corners: one panel to each end. Moulded plinth raised on 2 steps. Weathered overhanging top slab with deeply recessed edge roll. Also to Samuel Adams banker and maltster of Ware.
