TL 22 NE CLOTHALL LUFFENHALL (West side) 7/95 The Old Ram and - Hurdle
GV II
House, formerly a public house. C16 W wing and late C17 main range, replacing an earlier open hall. Timber frame. Roughcast walls. Plain tile roof. Grouped roughcast chimney stack to centre of main range. 1:2 leaded casements. Circa 1970 gabled porch. 2 storeys. Interior: Upper floor of wing with arched braced truss and clasped purlin roof. Main range with notched chamfer stopped to bearer. Late medieval cross passage perpetuated. (RCHM Typescript).
