Farmhouse. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations. Reddish-
brown brick, probably concealing timber frame, plain tile roofs. T-plan
with hall range to left and cross-wing projecting to right. 2 storeys
with attic to cross-wing, dentilled eaves cornice to hall range and dentilled
floor bands to cross-wing; one late C19 casement with segmental head on
each floor to left and right of roughly central door with console bracketed
hood to hall range; similar windows to cross-wing, one on ground floor,
2 on first floor and one blind and painted in imitation to attic; prominent
stack with moulded capping behind ridge to right of hall range and end stack
to left; slender C20 stack to right side of cross-wing; single-storey
lean-to in angle between hall and cross-wing. Interior: inspection not
possible at time of re-survey (1985), but likely to be of interest.
