House. C17, S end early C19, C20 porch on W side. Timber frame
roughcast, S end plastered and lined as ashlar. Steep old red tile roof,
lower pitched, lower roof to S end. A tall 2-storeys and attics,
3-cells, internal chimney plan house facing W, with lower 2-storeys
single-cell S extension. Irregular W front with 3 2-lights casement
windows to 1st floor and ground floor, large hipped porch at S end of
older part of house, attic window between purlin-ends of roof at S gable
of higher part. The large internal chimney a third from S end of
original house has the stumps of 3 diagonally set square shafts joined
under a later cap. Small external N gable chimney.
