GV II
Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with mid-to-late C19 alterations. Painted brick with sandstone ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. Rendered stone plinth, painted stone quoins; integral brick end-stacks. 5 bays; windows with gauged brick heads and C19 sashes without glazing bars, those in second and fourth bays blocked; central 3-Panelled door with rectangular overlight and C19 gabled wooden porch; later inserted half-glazed door in second bay from right. C20 one-storey lean-to addition to right with 2-light casement to front. Interior: there is reputed to be a good C18 staircase (not inspected).
