Granary. Late C17 or early C18. Timber frame on a high red brick base,
weatherboarded with a steep old red tile hipped roof. A 2-storeys
rectangular granary facing S with separate upper door in E end. Interior
of 2 bays with upper floor carried on crossed beams and a central post.
Stair in SW corner. 2-bay roof with jowled posts, straight braces to
tie-beams, taking queen-post clasped-purlin roof and added collars. Face
halved bladed scarf joint in wallplate. Remains of plastered ceiling to
roof slope and interior close-boarded. 2 cast iron brackets on rear wall
for power transmission.
