Gate piers and walls, about 375 metres west of Lytes Cary

Pair gate piers. Probably C18. Local lias stone cut and squared with Ham stone dressings. Square plan piers about 600mm
wide x 4 metres high: moulded plinth, plain shaft and deep moulded frieze and cornice mould caps, which have steps and
elaborate fluted urn finish, with lids. Plain stone flanking walls with small stone scroll brackets against piers.
