Tall west tower with pinnacled top and stair turret on south face. Red sandstone. Mostly C15, with very tall nave and clerestory windows. Short chancel (re-built 1847) has interesting early tracery to east window (C13). South door and porch C13 or early C14. Fine Popham tomb, 1607. Interior has a ceiled wagon roof and 2 late C18 west galleries in aisles. [No {(l,} Church of St John the Baptist and Gatepiers and gates at churchyard] [entrance form a group.]
