Farmhouse. C16, altered C17 and mid C20. Rendered over random rubble, quoins to left, triple Roman tile roof, brick stack centre left and external stack gable end left. Open hall derivative lying North-south, with farm buildings attached as East wing (not included). 2-storeys, long facade with 3 bays to left of C20 single storey triple Roman tiled porch, C20 2-light leaded casements. Interior: extensively modernized but exposed jointed cruck trusses, smoke blackened at North end, with remains of C17 compartment ceiling, hollow chamfered beams, and large open fireplace with chamfered lintel in room to left of entrance. The estate is mentioned in Doomsday Book.
