Barn and 2 adjacent farm building on E. C18, timber frame weatherboarded barn on red brick sill in English bond with steep slate roof, C19 lower buildings timber framed and weatherboarded with slate roofs and red brick wall along roadside with dark diaper decoration forming rear wall of S range. Tall 4-bay barn with low gabled porch on W in 2nd bay from N. Double doors on E of same bay but small door in porch. Unjowled posts with bolted knee-braces. Mid-height rails tennoned in line. Queen-strut clasped-purlin roof without collars. The barn is an important element in distant views of the church and village from the south and west, and the decorative wall provides enclosure at the entrance to the village along Paper Mill Lane. Formerly associated with the farmhouse now Nos 66, and 68 High Street.
