House. C17 or earlier E range, early C19 N wing, late C20 tall W wing and N extensions. E range has exposed timber frame on brick sill with brick infill, lower N wing of flint and brick C20 extensions of half-timbering with re-used materials. Steep old red tile roofs. An irregular 2-storeys house now entered from N. Oldest part the 2-storeys E range formerly facing E, with large external S gable chimney. Evidence of clasped-purlin roof on collar truss at gable. Tension braces to corners. Casement windows renewed. 1½-storeys N range adjoining N gable of oldest part and extending to W has 2 gabled dormers at eaves but front obscured by irregular half-timbered and flint and brick additions. C20 W wing of 2-storeys and attics has a garage below the jettied 1st floor on N end. Formerly the Lamb P.H.
