Farmhouse, now house. Probably c.1830-40 with later additions and
alterations. Painted brick; double-span graded slate roof has deep boarded
eaves and open-pedimented gable ends with overhanging verges to front
range. Internal end stack to left and valley stack to right. 2 storeys
and gable-lit attic. 3 windows, late C20 sashes replacing late C19
casements. Central brick porch with open-pedimented gable has 6-panel
door with semi-circular fanlight. Mid-C19 outbuilding attached at right-
angles to rear right corner of rear range. Interior. Staircase in
central hall has stick balusters. Several C19 fireplaces, that to left
first-floor room with carved garlands to overmantel and cast-iron grate.
4-panel doors throughout. Bread oven in outbuilding. Formerly linked
to Church Farmhouse (not included in this list) but connecting range
now demolished.
