Farmhouse, now store. Early to mid-C17 with some late C19 alterations.
Pebbledashed timber frame with brick nogging, north-west gable end partly
rebuilt in red brick. Plain tile roof. Baffle-entry plan of 3 framed
bays. 2 storeys and attic. South-west front: brick ridge stack off-
centre to left with stepped weathering and external brick end stack to
right. 3-window front; C19 two-light wooden casements, only 2 to first
floor at right. Ground-floor windows boarded at time of survey (October
1986). Boarded door off-centre between first and second windows
from left with evidence of former small gabled wooden porch. Left-hand
gable end with evidence of former one-storey lean-to brick addition,
first-floor 2-light wooden casement and boarded door to left. Small
attic wooden casement in right-hand gable end. Rear: central gable.
3 first-floor C19 two-light wooden casements, larger boarded ground-floor
window to right, and 2 small casements to right, that to left C20
metal and that to right C19 two-light wooden. Central one-storey timber
framed (square panels incorporating reused timbers) lean-to with boarded
central window, boarded door to left and open doorway to right (no door at
time of survey). Interior only partly inspected. Left-hand ground-floor
room with chamfered ceiling beam, plain joists and chamfered wall plate.
