CASTLE CARY CP CHURCH STREET (West side) ST6332 5/56 Burge monument in churchyard 11 metres south of south transept, Church of All Saints

GV II

Chest tomb. C18. Doulting stone. Moulded base on step plinth; plain flanks and sides; Adam style frieze and thin moulded flat top. Commemorates members of the Burge family; inscriptions eroded but death dates of 1767 and 1798 deciphered on south side.
