The central pair of gates consist of 2 panels each, the lower with richly wrought foliage, the upper with spearhead shafts and foliate borders. Over the gates a curved wrought iron over-archrises to a monogram and coronet crowned by scrolly foliage. The outer gates similarly consist of 2 panels, and each has a concave head, curving up to meet the main piers.
